I was delighted when the lovely Jane from Beneath the Badger Tree invited me to participate in this year's Earth, Air and Art Fair.

The Save Me Trust, founded by everyone's favourite astrophysicist guitar hero, Bryan May and animal rescue hero Anne Brummer, exists to protect the welfare and dignity of wild animals.
The way us humans just barge in and bulldoze the wildlife and habitats away for their own benefit does not sit well with me. As a child I loved the book Watership Down, but I was horrified by the humans in it, and it opened my eyes to what we are capable of doing - and DO do - to wildlife in the real world.
Even today, as the deer come though the field I look over to head back to their sleeping spot on the Common from their foraging, I can't help but wonder, with a lump in my throat, what will happen to them. For there is a housing development that is creeping closer and closer to their safe areas. It will take over the fields they walk through. Their home. It's heart breaking.
There are many issues that affect wildlife today. Climate change, increasing human population, destruction of habitats and pollution are the most significant factors causing the rapid decline of the creatures with whom we share our Planet.
By working together and changing our behaviours, we can achieve sustainable change that supports wildlife, business and the environment, and offers every species a better future. I can get with that - and so ofcourse, here I am.
This is my first charity fair, so come and help me support our beautiful wildlife.
You can head on over to take a look at my beasts at ColourFaux Taxidermy. And don't forget, 10% of every sale during the Earth, Air and Art Fair will be donated to Save me Trust via Work for Good.
