Many people ask me if I can make one of my creatures in a colour they request. And the answer is yes. I can make any of my beasties in a colour and style of your choice. They don't cost any extra for a custom make, unless I need to add any special features, or purchase a specific fabric.

Once the order has been made, you will be locked into the commissions queue and I will contact you to discuss your colour and style preferences.

I can use a single colour or combination of colours. Styles can be anything - from geometric, floral, bling, dark, ethic etc etc.

I can also add in fabrics that you send me. be they fabrics left over from your interior furnishings, or memory fabrics from a loved one, or simply a fabric you have and want used.

Here is a little Jackalope made for a customer who requested a Jackalope in Native American Indian style patterns.

Once I know your preferences, I will go hunting in my collection of fabrics. I will select two or three "collections", photograph them and email you the collections, with notes of my intentions. Something like this....

This customer had seen a fox she liked and requestd it in different colours. I hunted through my fabrics and found some of the fabrics I had used in the colours she wanted. In the end we changed the plan. We stuck with my suggestion of red and teal (on the right) but instead of a fox, it will be a mini deer, but you get an idea of the process anyway.

If you live locally, I'm always happy for people to visit the workhop to decide on fabrics. My creatures are very tactile, and the feel of the fabrics is an important part of them. In this case, I will ask for colour and preferences in advance so that I can pick some fabrics before you arrive. This is to save time - I have thousands of different pieces, so allowing a customer to look through them all would be too time consuming and it can also be overwhelming to have such a large choice.

Once you are here, I'll show you the fabrics I have picked and we can pick from that, and I might pick a couple more while you are here as I get more feedback. The process takes about 15 minutes, but we usually get chatting and my customers are always so lovely, so allow more time if you intend to do this!

Then, once we have decided on the fabric combination and your order is up, I get to work!

If you wish, I can send you progress photos, but usually I will send photos before delivery to make sure you are happy with your creature.
